Training & Learning

GAVCA aims to ensure that all voluntary and community groups within Gloucestershire have access to training and learning on issues that they have identified as a priority.

GAVCA runs a comprehensive programme of short courses, in particular in management, governance, personal effectiveness, human resources and policy development. The Short Course programme aims to provide training which is accessible and affordable, particularly to newer and smaller groups in the early stages of their development.

 

Tailor-made training

GAVCA can also work more closely with organisations to look at learning needs for trustees, employees or volunteers.  Learning programmes can then be specifically tailored so that participants can work together to plan and think about the future of their organisation.

Gloucestershire Enterprise

GAVCA is continuing the arrangement with Gloucestershire Enterprise Ltd offering places on a range of courses (see below) at a reduced rate for the voluntary and community sector groups across the county. Please note that the booking needs to be made through GAVCA. You can complete and send in a booking form or contact our training department.
