- Mary Boucher
- Mary Boucher has worked in the voluntary and community sector for more than 25 years as a volunteer, trustee and paid employee in organisations as wide ranging as those working with young homeless, childhood sexual abuse survivors, mental health service users, people with learning disabilities, providing benefits advice and information and more recently with GAVCA as organisational development worker, advising and supporting Gloucester groups on all aspects of running and managing an organisation.

- Gina Butler
- Gina Butler is the Volunteering Development Worker at GAVCA, responsible for promoting ‘good practice’ in supporting volunteers within organisations. Having been a trainer and volunteer manager within Citizens Advice Bureau, she has many years’ experience of developing policies and procedures to support and retain volunteers.

- Caroline Cook
- Caroline Cook has worked in the voluntary sector for many years in various roles. As the senior staff member in two organisations and now as an independent consultant she works with issues of change on a frequent basis – personal change and organisational change. Caroline also works as part of Phoenix Associates.

- Angela Gilbert
- Angela Gilbert has worked in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) for 19 years in a variety of roles including developing activity programmes for children and young people, managing community organisations, developing policy frameworks and supporting groups with organisational development. Her current role is Services Manager at Cheltenham VCA, offering support for local groups and enabling District representation of the VCS.

- Camilla Hale
- Camilla Hale has been in the arts and voluntary sector for 35 years – developing creative programmes and managing organisations. Camilla has been an active trustee for 20 years, is a mentor and life coach and is currently Team Leader based at Gloucester VCA offering information, training and resources to the City’s voluntary and community sector organisations.

- Chris Hickey
- Chris Hickey has worked in the voluntary and community sector for many years. He does training with very varied sized organisations, from large institutions to small local groups, including school governors. He works as an independent trainer and consultant as part of Phoenix Associates.

- Joanne Hine
- Joanne Hine has recently started working in the Voluntary Sector as an Information and Advice Coordinator on the ladder4learning project which is delivered by The Learning Curve. Joanne was a tutor at Wiltshire College for 10 years, teaching IT to a variety of students but focusing on community outreach. As part of the ladder4learning project Joanne has become involved in supporting organisations within the sector on identifying skills needs and how to meet these needs through training and support.

- Honey Lucas
- After completing a PhD in Information Science, Honey Lucas worked in Higher Education for several years. She has been working in the voluntary and community sector for two years, and is responsible for the communications (including websites, publications and marketing) for GAVCA. She is the author of the TheVeryTiger blog, which brings together news about social media for people in the voluntary and community sector.

- Jess Mace
- Jess Mace has worked in the voluntary and community sector for 18 years, as a volunteer, community development worker, manager and trustee. This work has been in a variety of settings in inner London and Gloucestershire including homelessness, regeneration and equalities projects and Citizens Advice. Currently she manages the Gloucestershire Assembly Team which supports the work of the Gloucestershire Assembly for the Voluntary and Community Sector. She is an experienced manager and trainer and committed to supporting the development of staff and volunteers in the voluntary and community sector.

- Sally Pickering
- Sally Pickering has been the Chief Executive of GAVCA since November 2004. Sally has over twenty years’ experience of working in front-line voluntary sector organisations, starting from community development work in rural areas of West Africa and India, through to managing organisations tackling homelessness, mental health and domestic violence in Gloucestershire.
- She also has extensive experience of training both public sector and voluntary groups in the use of participatory methods of strategic planning, facilitating workshops and delivering training in a variety of settings. These include contributing regularly to GAVCA’s training programme, working with campaigning and community groups with which she is involved, and as part of a national programme to prepare people for voluntary work overseas.

- Rubicon First Aid Ltd
- Rubicon First Aid Limited is part of the National Network providing ITC-awarded first aid courses. ITC First Aid Limited supports individuals and organisations in their delivery of environment specific first aid training courses. Rubicon First Aid Limited is the provider of these courses in Gloucestershire and the surrounding Counties.
