The recent GAVCA funders fair gave opportunities for voluntary and community organisations to meet funders face to face. The key message from funders is that there is funding available. Meeting the funders' eligibility criteria and being clear about your project outcomes is vital for successful funding bids. Voluntary and community organisations were asked for their organisation's most pressing concern at this time. The feedback indicates that organisations are struggling to find support for core costs which in turn enables them to have the organisational capacity to concentrate on developing larger or more complex funding bids.
