Vision 21: Fundraising Officer

Responsible for:    Generating income from national and local government, grant making trusts, European bodies, members and the general public

Overall objective:   To research sources of funding, make applications, organise other such fundraising activities as the Trustees decide

You must be:

  • Able to work on a Thursday morning from 9am – 12.30pm as well as one other session on a Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning or afternoon.
  • Experienced in working with children with special needs and their families.
  • Qualified to at least NVQ3 standard or equivalent.
  • Able to observe children and keep records.
  • Prepared to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

A temporary Portage worker is needed in the Stroud area to undertake home visits to pre-school children with learning disabilities and to support service developments, including undertaking the role of keyworker for families.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a small supportive team that is working hard to develop and improve its service.

You will be supported through regular supervision and team meetings.

You must be:

  • An experienced Early Years (SEN) practitioner
  • Portage trained
  • Experienced in multi-agency working
