Do you believe in supporting others to achieve their full potential? Emmaus Gloucestershire provides community-based living and work for previously-homeless people. The Community provides accommodation for 22 people, operates 3 retail outlets collecting and selling donated furniture and household items. Whilst in the Community, Companions (as residents are known) are supported in regaining self-esteem and developing skills.
You will provide support services to Emmaus Companions which aims to maximize the potential of these individuals, and assist them in developing their skills and achieving goals. The successful candidate will support the Community Manager in providing care for Companions and performing the day-to-day tasks to run the Community Home.
An NVQ2 in Health and Social Care is desirable, however applicants with relevant experience providing support to adults are encouraged to apply.
