The review of funding to the VCS by Gloucester City Council, which was promised at the start of this year, has yet to get going and your VCS reps have been very busy trying to make sure that this joint piece of work gets started soon so that there is time to have some meaningful debate before next year’s budget needs to be set.
The Grants and Community Services Forum meeting, due in July, was postponed as there was nothing yet to report back, but we have secured an agreement that this will take place on 15th September and that the review process will be well underway by then.
