Course Prices

The price bands are indicated under the details for each course.

Your group may want to take up some of the opportunities below:

  • A limited number of free places for volunteers or management committee members to accompany a paying participant are available on some courses.
  • Some of the courses facilitated by the GAVCA Community Development Team may be available free of charge to groups with whom the team has been working.
  • For groups within Gloucester City we can access a fund operated by Gloucester City Council to cover training fees in certain circumstances.
  • For groups from outside Gloucester City we are able to help with travel costs.

 

Cancellation Charges

Cancellations received up to 14 days before course date          Full refund

Cancellations received 7 to 14 days before course date            50% refund

Cancellations received less than 7 days before course date        No refund

 

Special Requirements

GAVCA tries to ensure that all venues are mobility accessible.  We can provide a hearing loop, sign and language interpreters.  Lunch and other refreshments are provided on all courses.  Please contact the training co-ordinator to discuss your training and dietary requirements, or indicate them on the booking form.

The GAVCA training room in Gloucester is located in the centre of Gloucester, five minutes from the bus and train stations and several public car parks. There is a parking space reserved for people with mobility needs. Venues in Cheltenham are also regularly used.

Large print and Braille versions or the courses and training materials are available on request.
